Hooray for December! November seemed to fly by and with three races, I definitely took full advantage of the cooler temps. I’m so looking forward to this month that will bring a visit from my sis and family plus a lot of holiday vacation days! Also, this Friday is the Special Olympics fundraising event, Jack Over Ice, I’ve been helping with. It’s been a lot of work but it should be a fantastic night. I’ve also got a big announcement at the end of this post!

Run 103 miles. I met my goal of hitting the century mark. Onward and upward!

Bike At least the local pro who borrowed my bike road it about 60 miles.

Swim 18 miles! I swam my ass off in November. The Tampa Bay Frogman 5K Swim cometh… You still have time to donate to the Navy SEAL Foundation!

Strength 3 sessions with Coach Jon & the Tribe.

Yoga Do I even have toes? That’s how long it’s been since I tried to touch them.

Current Reads I finished, The Cuckoo’s Calling which was written by JK Rowling under a pseudonym. It was a good, old fashioned detective novel.

Current Obsession Ah! So much work! I’m obsessing over getting it all done before this month gets really crazy. December is a busy month where I work.

Current Song Adele “Hello”….duh? She is amazing.

Current Need To get this hair colored. I waited too long and now I’m showing my age. Eek!

Current Triumph I’m going with those big run and swim miles up top!

Current Bain of My Existence Dry skin! I’m a moisturizing machine and it’s not working. Any tips?

Current Goal Don’t miss a run for the whole month! I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…

Current Indulgence I can’t think of anything right now but I am sure those holiday goodies will sneak in here…

Current Blessings So many blessings it’s hard to count them all. Health, family, friends, food, clothing, shelter.

Current Excitement Here’s the big announcement! I’ve been wanting to get into coaching others since running has given me so much, I wanted to give back. I want to help others on their journeys to a healthier lifestyle. So when the opportunity was offered to be an assistant coach on RunVie racing for the Winter Season I was thrilled! This group has been around locally for six years now and the head coaches are folks I’m really excited to work with. I’ll keep my personal training with my coach (Jon) but I’ll be helping lead some group sessions with RunVie. I plan to get my first coaching certification with USATF in January.
