I say this with all the humor that was intended, given the punctuation, I honestly thought it was a gift for a lesbian couple having a baby. HA!
I really love giving my mom running based presents – she is 66 and took up running at 61! She has done two half-marathons and is currently contemplating a marathon. My sister and I have run since HS X-C and she was always our biggest supporter. We have continued to run through our adult lives and a few years back, she just started thinking, "why not me too?". So she did! She is awesome!
My mom is hard to find gifts for, since she never tells us what she would like. But, over the years, I have found that you can never go wrong with a candle (she loves a good candle), or a handwritten letter. Her favorite kinds of gifts are the ones that take time and effort to think of and make. I have liked on Facebook and followed on Twitter (EmilyMiller26).
I love making my mom "homemade gifts". Usually, photos of her and I as a child in a decorated frame or something similar that is more on the sentimental side. It helps remind us both of the special times we spent together when I was younger and it means more to her than "stuff" that I've randomly bought her in the past.
P.S. I liked on FB and followed on Twitter! 🙂
I love when my kids hand make my Mother's Day presents!! That is my favorite!!
Cute jewelry! I am trying to come up with a homemade gift for my daughter to give to her grandmas this year. I think they're the best kind of gifts, especially from a child. Unfortunately, I don't have any good, age-appropriate ideas right now. I think it'll be easier to come up with something when my daughter's a little older.
I followed Milestones Jewelry on Twitter (@runsteelsprings).
I often like to give something plant related. The warm weather makes it nice to start adding color to the yard. I followed milestones jewelry on Twitter as well. (@kellysteffen).
I love homemade gifts from the kids, you know, the kind of stuff they make at school, the super cheesy stuff. Brings me back to when I was a kid and I used to make all that stuff for my mom.
Time is the most valued gift! Time to run, time for a massage or no cleaning or cooking for a whole week! 🙂 I know that's a lot to ask for right? So I would also like something like this bracelet. I followed on twitter.
Flower pots! We fill her pots and planters with flowers! She appreciates not having to do the work as much as the flowers. Bonus – they stay alive until Winter. It's the gift that keeps on giving. =) Hanging flower plants are great too.
FB follower. Thx for the giveaway!
