Hey kiddies! I just wanted to post about a cool thing that the Fresh Air Fund is doing. I’m totally late on this as the last day to sign up is… TOMORROW. (Bad blogger! Bad!)
The Fresh Air Fund needs runners and sponsors for their team for the NYC Marathon on November 7th. How freakin’ cool would it be to run the NYC Marathon anyway? This way you can run AND be a do gooder.
Since 1877 The Fresh Air Fund has provided free summer experiences in the country to more than 1.7 million New York City children from disadvantaged communities. Each year, thousands of children visit volunteer host families in 13 states and Canada through the Friendly Town Program or attend one of five Fresh Air Fund camps.
