TGIF! I’m quite happy it’s Friday. It’s been a long week and I’ve got fun stuff planned on what will be a chilly weekend here in the F-L-A.
Tomorrow AM I’m going to set out for my first run in six weeks. I’m running walking jogging a small 5K that coincides with a charity event I’ve been raising funds for: Bark in the Park. The money goes to the Human Society (donate here), which we all know has a big place in my heart due to this scruffy guy:
Lloyd was a rescue and the best money I ever spent. He’s getting a little long in the tooth but he likes to think of himself as the George Clooney of dogs. Heh.
After the 5K I’m going to have some R & R and maybe hit up the Strawberry Festival Sunday. The Strawberry Festival is basically a fair that features the best strawberry shortcake ever!
As a final note, I wanted to show you all the video of the Best Damn Race. If you look hard enough you may be able to spot me in there….(I’m youtube famous!)
