At my current job we have a “soft close” until after the new year, which basically means we can check emails and work as we see fit. It has been amazing. I’ve been able to workout numerous times a day (I’m so sore!) and I finally brought Lloyd into work with me. He was totally sleeping on the job yesterday.

As for my holiday, it was awesome. I spent some time volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries again. I invited Jess and Stephanie to go with me and I think they both enjoyed it as much as I do.
I also got to have lots and lots of time with my nephew/Godson during his first Christmas. He’s seriously the BEST thing. There’s just something so magical about having a baby around during the holidays. I can’t wait to see him really get into the Santa stuff as he gets older. He’s been the very best gift our family has ever received. Good job Big Sis and BIL!

I am quite truly thankful for so much right now. I’m healthy and so are my friends and family. I’m happy and I can’t really think of a thing I need. I am looking forward to an awesome new year. I hope you and yours have a very Happy New Year. I’ll catch you all in 2013.

we had a couple of new babies at the big family Christmas this year too. It was super adorable, and I'm still just glad that they weren't mine! and my kids aren't the only babies there anymore!

He is such a cutie! My brother and SIL have my neice who's 11 mo old this Christmas. They said she was hilarious with gifts. Very cool of you to volunteer! I just saw my name on the FL faves list too so I'm thankful to you for that! 😛 And poor Lloyd, he's such a hardworker staring into the back of his eyelids so intensely.
Awesome job getting to the gym multiple times a day. I miss BodyPump since they stopped doing it at LFF turned LA Fitness. Going to the gym at the beginning of the year as a workout snob (hehe) is so frustrating, but luckily I've been pretty gym absent with all this marathon training. I'm thinking about canceling my membership…we shall see. Merry Christmas!

I was just saying the same thing about people crowding the gyms. Yep its going to be crowded for a bit while "those people" commit for a month or two.
