Gooooood morning everyone! I just got back from a short tempo run and have to head in to the office for a few hours. We have a mandatory Saturday, but it’s not bad at all and I appreciate the opportunity for over time pay. Woot!
I got more on track this week then I thought I would due to this stupid cold. It’s almost gone, just some residual snot. Uh, sorry. That was gross.
Anyway, I have a great weekend planned. I have the SEC game to watch with some friends after work (I made Gator cookies!) and then tomorrow I’ll be volunteering at the BRA sponsored Brandon 5K and Half Marathon.
I volunteered at a 5K last March and enjoyed handing out water to the athletes. I hope I get a water station tomorrow as well. I’ll be sure to take some photos and get them up soon.

I'm a KU fan and well we sucked with a crappy coach who was forced to resign. Please tell me we'll get a good coach and become a 2 sport school like Texas. Argh. My two least favorite Big 12 teams are playing for the Championship eek.
WELL as long as it isn't all day enjoy the extra moola. Have fun at the 5k. I am GOING to volunteer at a race at some point when one fits into my schedule

I am bummed that I'm working and can't watch the game today. It should be a good one! I'm a Razorback fan but love to watch all the SEC teams.
Hubs and I are volunteering at the Houston marathon in January 🙂

Glad to hear that you are almost feeling your best again. Thats cool to volunteer at races. I did a while back and it really makes you feel a part of it. Great post and have a good one.
