It’s Friday AND Pi Day. That’s a beautiful thing! I am really quite awful at math, but I always get a chuckle out of Pi Day. My inner nerdiness cannot be stopped. Yes, I also love May the 4th. I just can’t help it. I’m a nerd. Look for me at Mega Con this year! No, seriously.
All joking aside, I would like to direct you all to a very worthy cause for a friend of mine, Kevin, who is asking for donations for his friend Brittany who was in a very bad accident. Brittany’s friends and family are raising money for her medical bills and rehab costs. I know that had my dad’s medical bills not been covered after he died, we would have been completely bankrupt. I don’t know Brittany, but Kevin does and I wanted him to share a few things about her. This is what he had to say:
“I met Brittany through my friend, her brother, in 2000. Whenever I was over, she and her family always treated me like I was family too. She is one of the few people who I actually think is smart (I set the bar high), as well as being loving and caring. She has grown into a beautiful young woman.
While attending the University of Central Florida, she’s made the most of her time. She’s maintaining her GPA, in addition to many extra curricular activities, such as the one with Firestone Love.
With a smile that lights up even the darkest of rooms, positivity is what she always seems to have and we just want to return the favor.” -Kevin Tanicien
If you only have a few dollars to donate, I’m sure Brittany’s friends and family would truly appreciate it.
Thanks for all of the great comments on my post yesterday. I’m looking forward to testing out some of those products. And to those of you who helped me with the saddle sore stuff via email or direct message, you all have no idea how grateful I am! Saddle sore message boards are SCARY. Haha.
