Good morning! Happy HUMPY Day. Heh. (Perv alert!)
Just a quick point of clarification for you all, my dear bloggy friends. When I posted The Plan yesterday a lot of you were concerned about my rest days. Fear not, two of the days that I have as recovery runs or cross training days are also optional rest days. And you can bet your sweet heiny that I’ll be cashing some of those in.
It’s very awesome that you all picked up on that and wanted to make sure little ole B.o.B. here made it healthily to the start line.
That my friends is why I love you all.
Go forth and prosper! Happy HUMPY DAY! (Perv alert! Again!)
aren't bloggers great! LOL Looks like a good plan 🙂
Great plan – and to make sure that rest days are taken, I'll take some FOR you!
I was really wondering…just didn't want to come across as overbearing in a comment. Glad you clarified that! Nice plan.
You are a smart runner – no worries here! Excited to watch you train! Have a good Wednesday! 🙂
Good training plan. Do you also incorporate some weight training also?
Cross training has helped me by preventing burnout and strengthen associated muscles.
Everybody is different and your body will tell you when you need a recovery day.
I love optional recovery/rest days. Always nice to have a choice. Of course, given the choice, I will generally choose REST.
Happy HUMP Day to you too!
Happy hump day back at ya! I always feel pervy when I say that too.
You said Hump. Heh.
The only reason I didn't go all Hulk on you is because I have the inside scoop on the plan. 🙂
I think active rest/recovery runs are a great complement to any training plan. Good luck. Cheers!
Looks like you got everything straight!! Have fun training.
Glad to hear your bod is cooperating with you again!
you should get in at least 3 solid days of cross-training in a week. I think its doctors orders.
Wow– A lot of people not thrilled with you not getting rest! Glad you clarified! rest is good!
