Today I am thankful for college football. There is nothing like a college football game with a beer in one hand and a hot dog in the other. I love September when our Florida fall sets in. Basically Florida fall consists of sun, heat, and slightly less humidity but it also means FOOTBALL. I know we are still a month out but I am excited about going to see my first Florida Gator game of the season as well as sneaking in a game at my Alma mater, The University of Central Florida.
A friend got a school bus and converted it to a UCF-mobile.
Me and some friends tailgating at UCF.
The actual SWAMP.Post Florida games at the Swamp Restaurant. (Not my best photo, but you get the idea.)So peeps what are you thankful for today?
I'm thankful for LONG WEEKENDS! We have one coming up this weekend in Ontario and boy do I need it! 🙂
Fun pics!
Love me some Gators!!!! We should so do a Gator run sometime! How fun would that be?
thankful for having seen some family ealier this week that i haven't seen for a long time.
thankful to have both kids with us on this summer vacation and enjoying cooler weather!
round here, the first sign of college football always comes on an August night that happens is cold and crisp. for the first time in months you feel cold (not just cool) air rush into your lungs; and you smile because you know the glory of football is looming.
You just got me excited about college football!! You sell it very well!
I can't wait for the fall and the cooler temps and changing leaves!
We usually only watch college football on tv but I still love it. It has a very cool and unique energy, so fun!
I'm thankful for SALT BAGELS(I'm hungry)!
Happy Thursday!
can you believe I've never seen a football game? I've seen short clips of it, but never a whole game. I don't qualify as an American, haha
I get into football when I get to know the players! So my husband makes sure that he calls me in to watch the segments that are done on the players personal lives. (sneaky guy!!) lol I prefer to watch football on t.v. though. The very first football game I went to with my hubby we got into a huge fight. Because I was there to socialize, eat, drink and socialize while kinda watching the game….and for some crazy reason he was there to WATCH the game. LOL
So what am I thankful for…hmmmm….maybe I should make that my blog post for today since I'm having trouble coming up with what to write about! Thanks Beth!!
If the Swamp walls could talk…I'd hate to hear what they said I did there. Ah ha ha ha. Go Gators!
College Football cannot get here soon enough. I have been watching reruns of games I missed last season on ESPNU every weekend.
Oh yeah – GO CANES!!!
My went to the "U" – what can I do…
I'm thankful for having my freedom and independence back to take a bath by myself again! When I was having seizures, this was something that was considered dangerous! :S
YAY!!! I love the UCF bus – so bad-@$$!!! That's my alma mater, too!!! Go knights 🙂
I cant wait for college football! Go hogs! I myself love some hotdogs!

I am SO thankful my husband has brought home a computer for me because he knows I cannot function without blogging!!! He's SUCH a good man 🙂
Oh, no! Not another Gator fan! As an Alabama fan, I surely wish Tebow would've turned pro. hee hee
I love, love, love college football – my fall Saturdays are built around it. Even my 7-year-old daughter gets into the games.
Oh, this fall is going to be even more fun now that I have someone else to talk football with. Yay!
Roll Tide! 🙂
Cute photo of you! I'm thankful that I have a day off tomorrow- a-for-no-reason-whatsoever-because-I-want-it day off. So excited!

My favorite season is fall and the start of football indicates that the season is almost here!
GO GATORS!
I lived in G'ville in the early ninetys when the ex was getting his MBA at UF. Football season tickets FTW!!! Halftime beers running from the Swamp to the Swamp and back again – good times…
Was there the year they won the championship with Spurrier – I'll never forget the pandemonium in the streets. Thanks for the memories! lol
You have a great blog! Keep it up!
